I’m so excited and so proud to let everyone know that I am officially a 2011 SF Marathon Ambassador! Yippee!!
Most people now say, “Congrats! What does that mean?”
Well, it basically means I’ll be one of the people promoting and disseminating information about the race to the Sacramento area. Through other running events, clubs, stores, etc. I’ll be spreading the word about the marathon, answering questions and helping people with training for the race. I will also be blogging, tweeting and sharing info on Facebook. I’ll also be running the race in an ambassador singlet and hopefully will be able to help with pacing. Yay!
I’m so excited to share about this race. I’ve run it twice and both times I have PRd, and this last time I broke 5 hours (4:59:02 to be exact). (Check out my race report here.) I just love this race. I love the weather, I love the crowd, I love the people, I love the bridge, I love the hills, I love everything about it. I just love this race.
